Thanks to a pair of defective 2in. heel sandals and my innate clumsiness, I've got a huge boo boo on my left knee and scratches on my right hand and thigh. I was running up a couple of concrete steps then... WHAM! I tried to break the fall with my left hand (which apparently failed), so that split second I shielded the right side of my face since I was more or less, going to fall on a couple of water pipes on that side thuis the scratches on my right hand.
It hurts like hell! and I did cry when I doused it with alcohol (it was quite late and I couldn't get any hydrogen peroxide)
I just pray that this awful awful AWFUL scab wont leave a visible bearing of its coming... or far more worse,a keloid. *shivers*
I don't really use scar preventing / removing ointments during my younger years but I've used Retin A once ( and finished up the entire BIG tube, I think) but it didn't work for me, probably because I was using it on a 'stitch' scar, it is barely noticeable though and it's only one fine white line on my palm. I really can't say if Retin A was able to help...
Do you know any effective topical scar removing treatments? :(
